Northern Lights GOTS by BC Garn is a soft, organic (GOTS-certified) yarn blend made of mulesingfree merino wool from South Africa with addition of silk from India, which gives the yarn a slight rustic look. GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification guarantees responsible textile processing, including ecological and social criteria, and at the same time ensures sustainable and environmentally friendly knitting. Perfect for sustainable scarves, shawls, clothing, and accessories. Approx. 5 to 6 skeins (500-600g) are usually enough for a middle-sized pullover or 1 skein (100g) for a hat.
